My Goals

Have you ever wished to be taught by some of the greatest minds our shared culture and history had to offer, but you were put off by their complicated language, views, or arguments? Did you convince yourself, therefore, that their work is just for academics or specialists, having nothing to do with the vast majority of ordinary people?
I hope to show you otherwise. If you’re curious why, then please join me in a hopefully fascinating journey of self-discovery and self-improvement through philosophy, religion, literature, and art, amongst others. No matter who you are, where you are, and how old you are; no matter how much (or how little) you know; no matter what you do for a living and what you wish to become; I aim to make the topics of my discussions very accessible, relevant, and exciting for everyone.
My deepest conviction is that what the greatest amongst us have thought, said, and written, can help us become the independent, intelligent, reliable, compassionate, entertaining and beautiful human beings that we all secretly dream of becoming. I hope to help you think for yourselves through logically sound arguments, an ever growing empathy, a lively imagination, and a deeper and more honest understanding of our cultural heritage. My efforts are not about trying to talk you into believing anything or siding with anybody, myself included. What I do intend is to encourage every single one of you never to stop being curious, reading, and becoming informed; to always raise uncomfortable, yet penetrating questions rather than accept easy answers; to form better judgments; and to make the best possible decisions, be they personal, professional, ethical or political.
