In this series we will overview the most basic themes of philosophy from ancient times until the modern period. The series is divided into five separate sections: metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, political theory, and aesthetics. My hope is to briefly, though engagingly, introduce viewers to the major disciplines – and their specific concerns – in the Western philosophical tradition.
